Residences on Main embraces 96 sophisticated and artfully crafted residential units set like gems within an elaborate, six-story building. This dramatic and complex project involved planning and development for a large-scale, multiple-unit townhome and mid-rise condominium project located in the heart of Scottsdale’s downtown Arts District. Because the project is on Main Street, in what is perhaps the city’s most cherished downtown area, it showcased Catclar’s skill in working with the entire spectrum of city officials, and the surrounding residential communities to bring a challenging, high-exposure plan to successful fruition.
Residences on Main encompassed 96 sophisticated and thoughtfully crafted residential units set in an elaborate, six-story building. Adjacent to this structure, the 62 classically planned town homes revive a tradition of refined, urban neighborhood residences, much like those found in some of the world’s most celebrated cities.
Both, classic and contemporary, the condominiums and town homes incorporate flexible and spacious floor plans and faultless architectural design and details. The results provide a superb living environment suited to nearly every category of resident, from young professional to active retiree.
The project was planned and designed in conjunction with the neighboring Hotel Valley Ho, which underwent a $70 million restoration. Catclar initiated, planned and shepherded the project through a complex approval process with the city. At the point when it was fully improved with building permits available, Catclar negotiated its profitable sale to Toll Brothers Construction, one of the largest and most successful building and development contractors in North America. This project, from conception to sales, was completed in 1.5 years.
